    Fucking hell this movie was great. It perfectly brings the Feathers McGraw we knew and love from the 90s into the present day without it feeling weird or forced.

    Not only is the story entertaining, all the jokes land and got genuine belly laughs from my family on Christmas Day.

    It’s a true testament to the passion, skill, and artistry of Aardman Animation that they can consistently release hit after hit. So few studios have as much care and passion as they do and it really shows in their final product.

    One of the most delightful viewing experiences I’ve had in a long time.

    I think the Burtonisms of Batman 89 and Batman Returns actually work to make pretty aimless stories really entertaining.

    I’ve often felt that Burton does more vibe based films than plot driven ones and that’s totally the case here.

    Everything laid out in Batman 89 is improved upon in the sequel I think. The world feels darker, weirder, and creepier. The costumes are improved, the music only gets better.

    It’s all really enjoyable.
