It’s not Parasite, but it’s not trying to be. It’s fun and silly—almost cartoonish at moments (but in a good way). The performances and visuals are great, and many of the story beats are surprisingly wholesome. The satire isn’t subtle, but that’s okay—it doesn’t always need to be, especially in these times.

My main criticism is that I wanted a little bit more. Some minor characters and plot points were brought up but not fully explored. Relied a little too…

Well-made movie with a good cast and soundtrack. A few of the themes were hit a bit on the nose. But I liked the idea that instead of AI turning evil—like most sci-fi showed us growing up—it’s the foolish and selfish humans using AI who are the real danger.

It shouldn’t be two movies (stretching out the story messes up the pacing and tone) but everyone did a good job. My friends didn’t know anything about it and really enjoyed it, so there you go. Give Cynthia, Ari, and the behind-the-scenes folks their Oscar noms.

Serves as a cautionary tale on how a storyteller can make a compelling and entertaining narrative based on muddled facts and innuendo. Also, some of the characters come off like caricatures.
