So I prepared to this movie in theaters but instead of playing the movie, they played what looks to be a new looking version of The Ring. Weird. Anyone else have this problem?

The Black Phone 2021
Very tense and dramatic the whole time through. A mix of thriller and supernatural, with a conservative dash of 70’s aesthetic that never feels too overplayed. The acting was really great on the kids part, so much so I think Finnie and Gwen slightly overshadowed Ethan Hawke. Oh, and because of the great acting, at no point does the movie enter a relaxed state once the ball gets rolling. I think I quietly shit myself throughout the entirety of the movie, there was never a moment of peace. A recommendation for sure!
