There are a few things that I would like to pick apart, that I haven't seen many touch on, concerning this film.

Pretty cutesy in theory, but there's a few things.
1. The animation aged pretty horribly but still kind of a based movie
2. It's hard to tell if Boog (the bear) and the park ranger have a mother/son relationship or if they want to fuck
3. Shaw (the hunter) is def QAnon and is the blueprint for 1/6
4. There's almost no character arcs
Honestly it has me messed up with the fact that the animals are aware that they're actively being subjected to genocide style hunting to the point that they're driven to guerrilla warfare lmao kinda fucked up
Ngl that shit was boring as HELL. Fell asleep, rewound to catch back up, and fell asleep again. Took WAY too long to get to the main plot, as the movie is shot soap-style. It's more like a window into their lives, firstly based around curating a vibe, rather than being plot-driven throughout.
The men are disgusting to watch and have gross personalities, but that is the point after all.
Get Out gives a good example of similar concepts in different context, and carries the message in a much more viewer-friendly package. Bleh
