National Theatre Live: Frankenstein 2011
Just amazing. Lee Miller's monster comes out on top, although all play stellar roles. Incredibly set design, pacing, and supporting cast - and subversion from the original novel seem apt and within reason. Completely loved this, and wish I could have seen it live.

Attack the Block 2011
Punchy, funny, crude, and political but not preachy. The (presumable) allegory for gang crime was one of the most interesting I've seen, and gave the film an incredibly subversive and under-explored (elsewhere, I mean) class dimension. A fun and lovable celebration of working-class south London culture, without any frills or romanticisation. Boyega particularly shines, as he has done since. Can't beat that amazing moment with the British flag. I can't stop coming back to this one.

Coalition 2015
I...liked this a lot more than I should have. Definitely a massive guilty pleasure film, and highly recommend to any politicos who are bored of jacking off to West Wing. Particularly enjoyed Cavel's performance of Clegg, as well as the tongue-in-cheek direction of the project. Gatiss' Mandelson was another camp and unserious addition that I thought gave a lighthearted character for the film, although I think they could have found a more exciting ending point.
