It's a fun sci fi action film with some great performances, but, kind of like Snowpiercer, I think it tries to pack too much in and as a result kind of misses a lot of the potential of the concept.

Ncuti Gatwa corpsed so hard in the second act and I don't blame him, this was a fucking hoot. Also HOLY SHIT the COSTUMING I want to marry the whole rack. Lady Bracknell's rose dress in the finish was an absolute standout. anyway I'm converted I'm gonna have to go read every bit of Wilde now.
I have substantial questions about the business model and intended clientele of this bar because the customers seem to be 50% straight women and they are throwing a LOT of liquor on the floor/bar/customers so I have to figure the markup is huge. also who has been waitressing for 12 years and pulls a pint THAT badly.
real fun film. kind of expected it to be bad but nope it does what it came to do.
