A Complete Unknown 2024
Imo one of timothée chalamet’s best performances. He rlly had Bob Dylan’s characteristics down to a tea, even the way he sang his songs and certain lyrics/ sentence adjustments. Apparently he spent years learning to sing and playing instruments for this movie?! Really good job done by him.

If we compare it to the first movie it wasn’t as good but if we view it as a stand alone movie, I think it was great. It just so happens that the first one was amazing and hard to beat that. I think a large part of sequels is letting go of that element of surprise and getting deeper with the characters. I do think that sound track could have been a bit better, like a stronger hook song

I throughly enjoyed every minute of this movie. The movie explored many of life’s darker themes: unconditional love, ill-health, patience, heartbreak, grief, family dynamics. I really enjoyed the play on humour and deep emotion. It was funny, happy, sad, but ultimately I ended this movie sobbing with an achey-heart. Love and life are so vast and complicated. Also soundtrack 10/10. Did not expect to enjoy this but it really hit in all the right ways and feels.
