Salem's Lot 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The story felt very underdeveloped, and everything just… happens? How do they know about the vampires before their first encounter? They just do. How does Mark know the adults were also hunting vampires? He just does.

I can’t believe that I watched this movie in theater. A waste of time only made up by getting to see Taylor Swift get hit by a car.

Hannibal: This Is My Design 2014
As others have done I am using this as a review for the series as it’s not listed on letterbox.
The series has amazing cinematography, special effects, and stellar acting. With that said, although well crafted all around the series was hard to get through. Not for the violence and gore, but due to the questionable quality of the writing at points and the tremendous amount of ableism. The series’ inability to create horror without overly relying on ableist stereotypes is embarrassing.
Unrelated to anything, but I found how inaccurate Francis Dolarhyde’s cleft lip distracting.

Amazing art direction, cinematography, and animation. The CG was integrated very well for its time. I don’t rewatch media very often but I find myself rewatching the series on a yearly basis. Each arc being essentially a chamber piece pushes the show to utilizes every aspect to their max potential.
As an anthology series there is no required watching, but if the series interests you then watch episodes 9-11 of Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales first. Those episodes act as a pilot and has one of the best arcs in the series.Translated from by
