On the Mount Rushmore of blockbusters for sure. I like Jaws a bit more but it’s hard to deny how impressive this movie is

Great visuals and score, but ends up very exhausting by the last hour. There is something I do kinda love about the Snyder movies, but actually watching them feels like a chore sometimes
Kubrick’s movies have the tendency to make me feel queasy by the end, and this was no exception. Horrible stuff but you just can’t look away
Just perfect, always reminds me why I love movies so much. Also one of the very few movies that taps into all of its potential, and then some
Could’ve done without that one song playing 5 times in a row (although I get why it’s there) and I didn’t love the second half as much (didn’t totally buy into the execution of Elaine’s character), but this is a classic for a reason. Feels very ahead of its time
This aged incredibly well, it feels like one of the quintessential American movies; loved how weird it got, hypnotizing stuff
Absolutely a classic at this point, some of the most riveting and dense filmmaking of the modern age
Somehow worse and better than I remembered
Gonna have to watch it again to give it the full attention it demands (incredibly fast movie), but wow; expertly made, one of the strongest casts I’ve ever seen along with unbelievable writing and directing. They don’t make em like they used to
Best looking Batman movie by far, and maybe my favourite version of Batman too. Always found the pacing a bit off at times and some of the performances/dialogue can be a little wooden, but I’m still very glad modern Batman is this great
