  My main problem with the movie is Odessa Young. I just didn't care for her character at all - and having to watch her being naked for 30 minutes straight didn't help.

  Week 1 - pioneers

  I haven't heard of Alice Guy Blaché before this challenge, so naturally I had to choose one of her movies. The stand out scene should in this moving picture is by far Trixie hanging up leaves on the tree. The children's view is determined that she can save her sister with this act alone. By some miracle it works, as the miraculous doctor walks by and enters the garden. But just the image and the little girl's cute acting alone are great.

  They don't make them like that anymore. The magic. The sets. The flying. The playfulness. The detail. The humour. The costumes. The music.

  For 2h22min you can feel like a child again. But in the end, can take a bit of energy for your next adventure <3
