Don't Look Up 2021
This movie was great and Jennifer Lawrence always makes me laugh. It was a little politically misaligned, but I was able to center my capstone research around this movie (analyzing the characters’ use of defense mechanisms). So funny and satirical!

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Very trippy movie! Artistically, this movie exceeded my expectations. I loved how gross and weird it got at times and how although it felt like I never knew what was going on, there was always something deeper going on behind the screen. Through research, I discovered this movie is about trans visibility and relatability, which I highly respect. But, unfortunately, I felt the symbolism was too difficult to discern without prior knowledge. Solid three, and close to a four, but again, the choices could have been more impactful.
