2 mornings after edit: in this movie you have themes of loyalty, brotherhood but also a sick portrayal of what war did to these Men, they don’t spell it out, they don’t explicitly mention it but you know they’re all broken by something and it’s still the late 60s “man don’t cry” and i think it’s cathartic to watch when too much power comes their way and they have to see what they’ll do this time.
