This film was basically paint by numbers. I felt the usual twists and turns from M Night Shyamalan were missing, but maybe that was due to the fact that it had to follow the books structure. But my thoughts toward the end of the film were basically, 'What was the point of the entire thing'. Some strong performances from the cast so I can't fault them for that, and I do like how Shyamalan has used Grint in this and Servant now.
