  Simple story, intricate storytelling.

  The three different characters resemble the three different sides and phases of every musician's life.
  Though about jazz, the film can easily resonate with anyone pursuing any sort of creative endeavour.
  I wasn't sure about the simple-straightforward plot at first. But the storytelling during the musical numbers blew me away. Not only did it tell me more about the characters, but as an audience I saw what it feel like to express yourself though those melodies.

  The music deserves a 5/5.
  It's a movie made with utmost love. And you see, here, and feel it.
