2 Rob Pattinsons are better than one. This movie does an excellent job of immersing you in the bleak world it is set in…which it turns out is not too dissimilar from our own in many ways.
I admire Rob’s ability to commit to something cooky and love seeing him get to flex his acting chops. Mark Ruffalo and Bong Joon-ho’s disdain for Donald Trump is also made very clear in this movie.
Paddington is back and this time he’s battling the dad from spy kids.
Beautiful film. I went into it really skeptical of the runtime, but found it to be worth the watch for a theatre experience. The intermission made feel as if I were attending a play. The Brutalist is incredibly real, and does not hold back in its portrayal of the life of fictional character Lazlo Toth. In fact, it often challenges you to look the tragedy of the story straight in the eyes without turning away. I felt the film did…
Really captivating film. 2024-25 has been filled with movies that make you want a cigarette, and this one is no exception.
The cinematography is really stunning and it is filled with convincing performances. The use of different languages was added a lot to the film. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this!
