Great movie. I watched it right after Nope and it was way more satisfying haha. Great cinematography and great acting from the cast. It was engaging throughout. I love Zombie movies but I think it's the first time I've sympathized with zombies in a film! Having zombies scream out their last words before dying was a nice touch

Gripping from start to end. Maja Salvador's performance is stellar. Shella Ann Romualdo's Nawi also stood out for me. It's not a fascinating story but there were a lot of interesting glimpses and beautiful shots. Dialog could also be better (parang sayang si Mon Confiado). It definitely satisfies as an action thriller, and shines the spotlight on a number of socially relevant issues in the Philippines as a bonus.

It is a fun ninja movie with entertaining fight scenes (if you're into this kind of stuff), a very good kata-like dance performed by a pirate, and ragged, long-haired fangirl material guys (Fudo and Kamui). Some shots of the scenery were really wonderful. The plot is shallow, but if you're just looking to unwind or craving old school martial arts action then this flick is for you.
