goddamnit every single shot is worth a place in a museum. the composition of every scene is impecable. the dunes and sun look so geometric at times, almost like dimensionless planes only given scale when humans appear.
the story is so well written i was in awe for the whole duration of the movie, i don’t think i’ve ever experienced a much concentrated attentive and silent crowd in a cinema that was completely packed.

BEAUTIFUL MOVIE.
movies set in the future are sometimes a hard-watch for me because they are 0 appealing and don’t entice me into their worlds. over the top techno robot silver jumpsuits and flying cars no longer succeed in surprising people, at least not me. now, THIS future is exciting. it feels fresh, it feels traditional in a way, it feels warm and mainly, it doesn’t rob the story of screen time. it’s a lovely depiction of a possible future/time/space.
