Gorgeous animation, super cool medium to explore lighting and dynamic camera movement. Loved that there was no dialogue throughout, along with how natural it was to imbue personality onto the animals. Found family and introspection were really interesting themes for me throughout, nature vs chosen community is ironic too given that all the characters are literally animals. music slaps so hard, animation is gorgeous and the characters are all developed very well, but the pacing was too fast at the start and too slow in the middle. also, probably expect too much out of a kid’s movie but it was too on-the-nose for me and a lot of character points were a bit rushed
