Now I have this urge to watch Singin' in the Rain (1952).

The camera work throughout the film is superb. I loved the alley scene at the beginning and the threesome sequence.

So far (3 times), every Kubrick film fascinates me for the first hour and drops a little towards the end.

    Some random thoughts:
Mickey Barnes muere y elige renacer para seguir chambeando, esa no la había escuchado.
This would be a great Black Mirror episode if you focus on the multiples and the ethical dilemmas they present.
Pattinson delivers another great performance accent wise.
Kenneth Marshall (Mark Ruffalo) is consistently funny, but at times he is tiring.
Arguably the best thing about the film was the company.

I've never played the video game, so I came in blind. No judgments, no context and no spoilers.

From the movie posters I was expecting at least some novelty video game style visuals, not even that.

The characters don't make me feel anything; although they express their motivations you don't see a development of their arc. I end with the thought that either the characters are abysmally bad-written or none of the actors (especially Cate Blanchett as Lilith) felt like being in this.

Claptrap (Jack Black), with his ups and downs, is the most consistent and entertaining character in the film.
