Normal People 2020
Wow this show really broke me. I think people struggle with it bc it’s slower paced and makes you feel the emotions of every single interaction and relationship between characters. It’s a very real depiction of young love and coming of age and I don’t think they romanticize it in any way. Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones are phenomenal the whole way through.

The Graduate 1967
I honestly thought it came out earlier than it did bc the style is so distinct. I thought the soundtrack while watching the movie was really strange and it was interesting that they never play Mrs. Robinson the whole way thru, and the versions they play in the movie are not the ones included in the soundtrack on major streaming services. Anyway- Dustin Hoffman is sooo good and stays in character while changing his character completely throughout the movie. I thought the way the shots play with distance, size, and light was pretty cool. Glad I watched but wouldn’t call it an all time fav.
