  It seemed cool I think? I had a.migraine when I left the theater from doing so much active language processing with the italian vocabulary of a 6 month old and filling the gaps with my public school spanish education

  Many people don't realize this but a Leonard Cohen documentary is something than can actually be so personal.

  I'll forever be thinking about the segment where an interviewer asked him why he didn't change his name from Cohen to something else and he said he was gonna change it to September and the interviewer was like oh Leonard September! And he said no September Cohen :) and then they interviewed his rabbi who talked about the month of elul :*)

  i wasn’t the most normal small child. around age six a psychiatrist was hired to secretly watch me at school, and she reported to my parents that i “was not a normal child doing normal things”. one of my abnormal behaviors was my tendency to read books most of the day and neglect all assignments and lessons. “I was a Rat!” was one of these books.
