Going into this movie, I didn't get why this movie was 2 hours long but after having seen it, it does make a lot of sense. The time used to set up the world before, how it affected them, the big mid story twist and then the consequences of that work really well.

Not for me. The fights aren't entertaining and in an attempt to make Beekeeper this God among men, they make every character extremely stupid. If the Beekeeper had to fight the characters from any other story he would have failed. He literally walks into situations with barely any weapons.
