  Absolute nothing movie. A promising cast but it's underwhelming and uninteresting at every turn. The whole gimmick of this overdone subgenre is that it keeps doubling down and doubling down on absurdism until it crescendos in a cathartic break of violence from the protagonist and Opus does none of that. It breaks the formula, sure, but replaces it with 100 minutes of who cares. Who cares!

  There are two reasons why I can already tell you I hate this movie. 

  1. I signed up to be an extra for the scenes filmed in Pittsburgh which means that the casting agency in charge took my headshot and wrote down my contact info with no audition necessary. This means that the reason why they didn't call me back either had to be that I was too attractive and they couldn’t have me distracting the viewer from Jason Mamoa,…
