  Grave of the Fireflies 1988

  This movie is not given the credit it is due, it was released alongside ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ and was only released after Miyazaki near begged for it to be released. It’s an amazingly historically accurate story set at the end of WW2 and is the only movie to ever bring me to tears. I highly recommend you watch this, but it is a heavy watch.
