Anora 2024
Still comedic gold moments that the set up is worth the payoff in the end. Revisiting after the Oscar sweep was a clear choice and consensus winner, and I am happy Baker is getting the recognition. Mickey 17 2025
A fun film that is a political social satire of today's new world order. Performances are great, from Pattinson playing the different Mickey's to Mark Ruffalo, a far left democrat, doing a political caricature of a president. However my one issue with the film is Bong Joon-Ho films tend to be slow burns with the same slowness to the social commentaries he provides, Mickey 17's commentaries seem to be skyrocketing and always keeps hitting and jabbing you in the arm.
