This is the one of the very first Ghibli films I’ve ever watched. It really shaped my love for the animation studio and the other amazing films that they’ve produced. The characters in My Neighbor Totoro are unique and very well thought out, as is the entire movie. I will always remember when I first set my eyes on the art style and finished the movie. I highly recommend this movie, and it’s a great start to get into the Studio Ghibli franchise!
At the time of writing this, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is my favorite movie of all time. As someone who has struggled with their mental health throughout the majority of their life, I found myself in Charlie is different ways. One of, if not the best Studio Ghibli movies out there. The storyline is super interesting and thought provoking, and the characters are clever and entertaining. This movie is one which happens to never get old to me, and I could watch it over and over again. The art style of Studio Ghibli films in general also enhance the movie and its atmosphere in general. I remember first watching Spirited Away when I was younger, in the later years of elementary school with one of my best friends. It was my first introduction to Studio Ghibli and I’ll always treasure that memory.
