The first time I watched this movie, I cried at the ending, but now it's more like my comfort movie. Every aspect of it impresses me - the storyline is impeccable, the cast delivers phenomenal performances, the soundtrack is unforgettable, and the cinematography is stunning. The editing style has a vintage charm, reminiscent of 1920s films, yet shot with modern HD cameras. The Art Deco aesthetic is beautifully captured. Although I haven't read the books, this movie has sparked my interest in doing so. It's truly one of the most captivating love stories I've ever encountered.

My third time watching this still amazed me. The tension and drama were intense, the cinematography was groundbreaking, especially the wedding scene - one of the most beautiful weddings ever. There are so many life lessons and so many lines that you can quote from this movie. Using a translated song cover as a soundtrack was absolutely genius. I loved the cinematography, but I wasn't a big fan of the art style in this animation, as it literally screams 'video game world building'. However, after I learned that it was made on Blender, the free software that I also use, my jaw dropped. I was also amazed by how this non-verbal movie, without any voice actors, still managed to deliver its message. The storyline is heartbreaking, although I kind of hated the open ending. However, the post-credits scene said it all - everything I needed to know.
