I Saw the TV Glow 2024
I’m thorn between love and hate. Don’t know if Lundy-Pain’s monotoned performance is campy or unconvincing as the dialogue felt like a script reading. The visuals where beautiful and at certain points I felt myself sinking into Owen’s skin (as someone who lives in a somewhat small city) but at other points I was absolutely lost and contemplating if I loved or hated this movie. I'm still not sure, but at least it made me feel something.

Amazing soundtrack and groundbreaking cinematography, regardless, this is a real-world mentally unstable man’s dream, to have a beautiful and successful woman immediately fall head over heels for them while accepting and almost mothering them and their serious issues. Perhaps this was what the film meant to portray, an ideology and an improbable dream, but if it was, there is no emphasis on it as the film is mostly seen as a love story.
