This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Every time I watch this film, I always feel extremely irritated by the fact that there is one major plot point that seems to “not make sense,” as it feels like a plot hole and very forced (the plot where the pod was rotated to face HAL when David Bowman and Frank Poole talked about potentially turning off HAL)
It's like they could've made it less forced but went with it anyway for the sake of a great cinematography.
