Kwaidan 1964
One of the most gorgeous movies I've ever watched, beautifully surreal landscapes abound. I love art, I love movies as art, and Kwaidan certainly fits the criteria for "every frame a painting." I'd been putting this one off because of the runtime but the pacing is really not bad at all; if anything the slow pace allows you to savor the stunning visuals and atmosphere, which this film has no shortage of.
