This last year has been a real year for body horror though attainment of beauty, along with The Substance and A Different Man. Though I can see all the ideas here quite clearly, I think it's not the most well executed. I did really enjoy the stringe and saw welding main character as she was starting to unravel though!!

Hilariously shallow, the situation of Emerald Fennell being wealthy and being able to pull name talent for her nothing movie is much more interesting than this movie. She does have an eye for good cinematography but it's all gorging itself and doesn't serve anything.
The scholarship kid scheming against nice rich people, capital idea Emerald!! Yeah don't think we didn't see your shallow racial commentary while making the bully the only person of colour in the cast. The homoerotisism isn't delved deep enough that movie actually comes off homophobic. Nothing burger movie
