  Nicolas Cage being the lead was a big part of the reason I was remotely intrigued to watch this… and he’s unconscious for like half the run time 😭

  I will say it was an easy watch, and kept my attention most of the time. That creature though, I feel like we just saw way too much of it too early to have any real scare effects.

  Hoooooly shit, I can’t believe it took me this long to watch Heat. There is so much I can say, but it’s been analyzed and studied to death over the years by real, credible film minds. I’ll keep it short.

  That was fun, and my son was locked tf in for the whole thing. Fun voice cast and cool animation. Not mad watching with my own little Petey on a Friday night.

  Bone Tomahawk 2015

  This movie just lures you in with its soundscape. Every boot heel, or hoof hitting the ground, every crackle of fire, every pistol being cocked or arrow shot, has a substantial weight to it. And when that soundscape is turned toward the macabre and twisted, it is totally massive. And crunchy. And disturbing. 

  What an aesthetic, fugged up film. Bone Tomahawk slowly builds from an intriguing western into an all out horror assault in its third act. Not sure I’ll watch that again tho.
