such a sloppy sequel. goes far beyond simply a sequel not living up to the original, this movie was just not well done. they leaned way too heavily on the humor when they could have and should have stuck with the perfect mix of humor and seriousness from the first.

it’s the quintessential heist movie for a reason. they do a great job of subverting expectations and only revealing the plan in increments that make it perfectly entertaining to watch: you want to at least be in on it a little with them but if you know exactly what they’re planning on doing it’ll be boring to watch them do it.
