The absolute grandiosity of this film is immeasurable, the sheer ambition on Denis Villeneuve to craft what I would call a love letter to both sci-fi and war genre. The Batman 2022
Mat reeves really had the pressure on his shoulders, after Christopher Nolan’s dark knight trilogy topped all charts. Reeves however chooses a different style to tell the Batman’s story, as we se less of super hero and main antagonist direct action. Impeccable casting on reeves’ end especially on Paul dano as the riddler, the darker and obscure Gotham we see on the Batman really was perfectly reflected on reeves’ outstanding cinematography.
