  The last scene had me wondering if there was something I missed about the entire film prior, but upon a few days to stew it over, I don’t know that there was. It had certain potentials up until it boiled down into a 15 minute scene of screaming and rape “jokes.”

  Well made, well acted. Just not very compelling of a story, all in all. BD had no flaws apparently, other than being too talented for his own good, that women just couldn’t appreciate enough.

  To me, the motivations at the core of it all don’t make sense. If the two versions don’t share a consciousness, what’s in it for Demi Moore’s half?

  Other than that gaping issue, it’s fun (though quite simple) and does have a surprise up its sleeve. Though even that still doesn’t make up for the other shortcomings. 

  I’m not sure that Demi Moore had enough to do that would warrant awards either. There’s no deep monologues and the “range” is quite surface level.
