Requiem for a Dream 2000
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Before watching the movie, I had the impression that it would be rather disturbing and possibly hard to watch. For me, it was the opposite, — hard while watching (get it?). Also, it’s the only movie I’ve seen in a while that I feel was actually too short, as if the story had more to offer.
P.S. (SPOILER ALERT): Coming from a medical background, I kinda spoiled to myself the fact that his arm was going to come off as soon as they showed the wound for the first time. Necrotic tissue — straight amputation.
