  mr. & mrs. mahi is supposed to be a feel-good comedy, but it’s hard to feel good when the male lead character is an absolute nightmare. every scene with him seems to dragon, making this feel like less a film and more a two-hour-long test of patience. he is so insufferable you start rooting for the cricket ball to him in the head. his overbearing attitude & incessant need to assert dominance fail to provide a meaningful critique of societal norms & instead…

  quite a frustrating watch. kashaaf is a beacon of hope in a sea of chauvinistic absurdity, truly a shame they failed to fully utilize her potential & instead paired her w a man who personifies the very definition of misogyny. the show is a lamentable attempt at love, shoutout to sanam saeed for elevating the material she was given
