Rebel Ridge 2024
This film ends with a riveting finish. I love how it reaches multiple peaks. I also caught on to the possible allegory of protest gear being used back at the police department symbolizing protesting police brutality in itself. All in all, great story and the actors conveyed the film powerfully.

I love the dynamic of the film, the story kind of unravels while you get a glimpse of Hanna getting a taste of real life. What stuck out the most to me was the parallel scenes with the deer. The scene at the beginning when she misses the heart, her father makes it known that it could’ve cost her life, as well as the ending where she also misses but gets a second chance to finish off the kill.
