This doc connects you to these kids in seconds. It does an excellent job of showing how fulfilling, and gut-wrenching, it can be to be apart of a child’s life.
Anyone looking for a heartwarming documentary, "Instruments of a Beating Heart" is only 20 min long, and it's free on YouTube. I recommend it especially if you're a teacher, or someone with a passion for working with kids. I was completely moved.

If they make it or not at the end doesn’t matter. What matters is that they are not allowing their spirits to be crushed by circumstance like all of those around them are.
