E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial 1982
Never connected to this one that strongly as a kid and even rewatching a few years ago on an old CRT and VHS tape I wasn’t too blown away. Tonight though, I watched in 4K, and coming off The Fabelmans, was in a big Spielberg mood and loved it. Also, now as a parent, instead of relating to Elliot, I compared him to my own son and that really elevated the whole narrative for me.

Watched this based on Mike's recommendation on Half in the Bag. Kept me interested throughout. Great documentary.

The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean 1972
Really enjoyed this movie; it definitely has Huston personality throughout and Newman at the top of his game (I think I heard this was one of his favorite movies he worked on).
I suspect that I'll like The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean even more on a second viewing with the overall structure in mind. My Dad's been recommending this movie for years, and I'm glad I finally watched it.
