The Monkey 2025
I feel like lately directors have been trying to nail that rare beauty of a quality horror movie that is also genuinely funny, and The Monkey misses that mark pretty hard. It swings too far in the direction of a Scary Movie vibe, but it didn’t too that particularly well either. Theo James is solid, but you can’t out-act subpar writing.
