  every new thing i learn about space makes me feel the same incredulous anger i felt when i found out that elephant seals can dive deeper than where giant squids, animals whom we were not able to photograph alive until 20 years ago because of the incredible depths at which they live, are physically capable of surviving. why do they need to be down that far?? needless to say space is fucked up and i don’t trust it.
