Solid feel-good movie.
I’d compare it to a children’s book where the plot is somewhat childish and random, but there are underlying messages that can be impactful.
Shoutout John Cena. My friend Rob says the movie seemed like a metaphor for his life, playing a persona in WWE.
Incredible movie, even more impressive when none of the leading characters were Force sensitive.
Exactly how a Star Wars movie should be. I love how there was no forced humor and there was great plot linking between the prequels and originals, also no evident plot holes.
From a Star Wars fan, Disney did this right.
Vader scene at the end gives it another .5 stars for me.
First time seeing it…crazy I know.
Movie was really good, animated movies will almost always do it for me. I really like movies where there’s a lore and background even if it is supposed to be catered to a younger audience. The final fight scene was done really well in my opinion.
The main criticism I have is that the training arc was so short, no way Po could’ve got that powerful that quickly, but I guess that’s why he’s the chosen one.
Excited for the second one.
Finally got around to watching this. Ryan Gosling is so fucking cool. Possibly because I wasn’t all the way locked in, but when the movie ended I was kind of like “what the fuck” and shocked it was over so soon. Maybe I’m just used to 3 hour Bollywood movies where there’s always more to the story.
I loved how real the movie was in that they don’t end up together, and I also love that the two of them ended up better off than when they first met.
Looking forward to when I rewatch it, I’ve heard the rewatch is better than the first time.
