  A serviceable sequel that goes out of its way to convince you it is a direct follow-up. The cinematography is genuinely beautiful at times and the score keeps your ears working. 

  Some dumb moments (we just going to ignore that Loomis should have been arrested for the accidental manslaughter of a teenage boy?) but overall enjoyable. 

  Props for the Hot Tub kill, you’d make Jason proud.
