Why did I think this was pretty good back when I first saw it? The graphics were awful and the story pretty boring. The acting was not great and overall this movie was just not good. In my defense, however, I was like 15 at the time and there have been better versions of this story told since then.

Noah's Ark 2009 was wild. . . Not a bad movie but probably about an hour too long. Disaster movies, for me, are typically pretty flat and uninteresting and this one isn't much different. Probably one of the more enjoyable Kurbrick films for me. The acting was pretty good for it's time even if many of the scenes were slow and clumsy. The overall story was pretty inspiring and well done but what makes it tough is the length at 3 1/4 hours. Overall it's worth a watch at least once if you've got some time to kill on a rainy afternoon.
