One of the best horrors iv ever seen.
So rich in plot, there’s details in the film that are placed in and the explanation is left to the audience’s imagination, whereas in any other movie there would be a reason. I think this makes the experience of this film so much more immersive as you’re left just as clueless as the protagonist, tangled with clues and traps, as he tries to navigate a terrifying island.
Only downside was the lack of jump-scares, which is a necessity when surrounded by a portion of the fellas.
Also forget Aaron Taylor-Johnson. THIS guy needs to be the next Bond.
