The Brutalist 2024
Good. Everything before intermission, was perfection. Everything after not so. Felt a bit like an archi project, setting up the dream then crushing it by building it.
Good film but fell a bit flat towards second half.
His nose though, funny they made a joke of it. Adrien Brody amazing still.

Honestly, was super hesitant because it’s labelled as horror and I can’t do horror. Amazing scenes, amazing cinematography, amazing graphic design. Such a good critique on beauty standards and women in the industry and really just about everyday life and how we look at ourselves. It was just pure rampage towards the end, I felt was ridiculous but so funny - no one else laughed in the cinema but us though. Worth! And also Margaret Qualley is killing it with her movies!!
