Would’ve appreciated more care towards the women of the film however this movie had me feeling emotions so viscerally I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. It was a beautiful story with beautiful characterization and social parallels I’m obsessed with.

I’ve never felt more connected to a fictional woman. Somehow this odd adventure of this odd girl makes me more comfortable with my femininity and my neuroticisms. It takes such a fun path of love and understanding of oneself and hopes. The stakes were so grounded in the reality of this story; I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I rooted for every character as if I was Amelie.
