É triste, mas não pela parte quando Sem-Pernas percebe que nunca poderia sair dessa vida e ser amado por alguém, ou pela noite de paz de Dora, ou pela tortura que Pedro Bala passou, e sim por como adaptaram mal uma das grandes obras da literatura brasileira. Até daria para relevar as péssimas atuações, se o filme:

The first and revolutionary Planet of the Apes is a great science fiction film, especially in 1968, I imagine how remarkable this story was 56 years ago, and continues to be today, I was very intrigued by the plot and even though I doubted the quality of the films continuation, left me wanting to watch it.
