  Ruben figures out the best mixture of rom-com to horror since Shaun of the Dead and yet its still missing something. I wish it had more of a Town that Dreaded Sundown ending rather than a couple of monologuing nothing characters.

  Pretty colors. Well executed visuals. Everyone working on this is clearly committed to it. But it's kind of dull. It took a character that spent the last couple decades as whatever tonally worked as "worst person ever." (Whether it was a crappy bank robber in the 60s or Grant Morrison's literal evil incarnate) and made him into a wannabe everyman that we should all feel bad about. I don't want to feel bad about him.
